Film, Television, Digital Video Production
You can find ample opportunities in industries like
You can also set up your own food production company and catering business. All you need is good liasoning in the industry, besides production and catering of tasty and hygienic food.
Front office yo food production, both the departments are very different from each other and choosing one of them totally depends on the interest of the candidate, that what they like the most. I will discuss both the departments in brief so you can get an idea about both the departments.
Front office department is the first touch point of the hotel to the guest, operations which are carried away by front office are, welcoming of the guests, check-in of the guest and the documentation needed at the time of check-in and escorting the guest to the room.
On the other hand, food production is the department which deals with the production of the food, doing all the pre-preparation of the food like peeling, cutting of vegetables and meats.
Being LPU faculty, I would suggest LPU to pursue Hotel Management. According to the recent NIRF ranking 2021 LPU is ranked 62nd among all Govt and Private universities in India. LPU is ranked 74th among global universities.
Moreover, 800+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Over the last three years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from LPU campus and has been titled with the “Most Employable Students” consecutively twice in a row by the India's top talent company “Aspiring Minds”. Barring few names in south, there are hardly any college which can boast of such tall records.
hi,
see if you look for future scope, fees, placement, internship opportunity and also for government job scope nit nagaland would be best join. nits curriculum is best among the top tier 1 institute in India, also electronics and communication engineering has wide vacancy in both government sector as well as private sector. on the contrary chemical or production engineering stream has less vacancy in government sector. so the above point of view I would suggest to chose Nit nagaland.
Well it depends on you. I prefer Rourkela for me . Brother it depends upon your interest in the field.you have to go through everything regarding the field . It is all about your hard and smart work . You have to give your best shot wherever you go . I would say Rourkela is much better than production of tirchi .
Hope you get it .
Greetings,
It is a suggestion but go for the branch of your choice rather than the reputation or tag of a college. Graduating from NIT with a relatively unpopular branch only works in a student's favor when he/she has decided a career path beforehand that does not require an engineering degree (MBA, Civil Services, etc.) but if you wish to enter the world of employment or go for higher studies then it's best to study and put 4 years worth of efforts into a field you really are interested in because that is what will bear the best results in the long run.
As for your counselling choice, you can choose to float and wait for the next list, chances are you will get some other branch in some NIT or you will get a better college altogether.
Best of luck, good day!
Hello student
I would suggest you nit agartala over nit srinagar because of the good student reviews. As you have mentioned that you are opting for production engineering the college has good placement records with an average package of 5.5lakhs.The college has got well organised placement cell which conducts training programs for students. The department of production engineering was formed on 2005.The department of metallurgy and materials engineering was formed on 1963.You can have a overlook on both campuses from the following links

Hello aspirant,
Yes, as a production engineer, you can get jobs in the IT sector also if you don't want to work in the core company and work in air conditioned room with comfort. For that, you need to learn and be thorough with the aptitude & reasoning and programming languages and computer efficiently and productively so that you can easily get a job in the IT sector. Moreover, top companies like Microsoft, Google, Byju's, Myntra, TCS, Tech Mahindra recruit all the candidates belonging not only from CSE, ECE but also core branches like mechanical, chemical, production and civil.
Hope, this answer helps to clear your doubt. Good Luck!
Hope you are doing well
Waiting list candidates can be called if the original selected candidates cancel their seat.
So you may or may not get a seat by being in a waiting list .
So try to keep some other backup option.
Hope this helps you
All the best!
Depends on which type of sector you want to start your career in. As far as Non Core/IT/Software/Analytics sectors are concerned both of the above branches receive equal share of opportunities.
Core sectors for Instrumentation Control are mostly the Instrumentation and Electronics Industry. Instrumentation is a branch under the Department of Electrical Engineering in most institutes and you can expect similar circuital opportunitues as EE or ECE.Some of the companies which specifically recruit Instrumentation engineers are Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, Tesco and Intel.
As far as the core sector in Production/Industrial Engineering is concerned, it mainly entertains Operations Roles in huge conglomerates and FMCGs. Many companies lool for Mechanical Engineers also open for Production Engineers. One key aspect in the curriculum of Production Engineering are the courses on fundamentals of Manangement ,Operations Research and Production and Inventory Control which somewhat give you an insight of how a MBA Course looks like. Companies like Unilever, ITC, Schlumberger,Tata Motors, Reliance are regular recruiters at most NITs for Production Engineers.

Hi aspirant,
Every branch of engineering has its own significance and role to play for humanity. Similar is the case with Production Engineering amd Mining Engineering. The foremost thing is that of you have interest in any one of these two, then go for it. Else You should go with Production Engineering. As Production Engineering is a derivative branch of Mechanical Engineering, you can work as a mechanical engineer and have better job prospects. Unlike Mining Engineering, the scope of production engineering is more and broader. The placement is also good in case on production engineering. However, you may note that placement varies from college to college. Amd if you have serious interest in mining then go for it.
Hope it helps you.
