To be an elligible for engineering entrance examination you need to opt PCMB..As mathematics is compulsory for engineering and in all engineering entrance examination questions comes with mathematics..With this PCB stream, you can look for Medical entrance EXAMINATION, Agriculture course entrance EXAMINATION etc..

I have completed my UG in B.Tech, Genetic Engineering. I would like to pursue further studies and a career in medicine.
Hello,
Yes if you have completed your B.Tech that is you completed your graduation so if you want to go for higher studies and want to appear in NEET but i think you should remember the qualifications for appearing in the NEET exam.
There is no maximum age limit till the supreme court passes any judgement on it and there are also no restrictions on the no of attempts in NEET.
So if you have that interest then you can go further, but i think if you have completed your B.Tech you can go for a job(if available) or if not then you can definetly go for higher studies, but don't drop an year if you fail to qualify neet in your first attempt.
ThankYou!
Yes you are very much available!
Regards!

I had passed 12 class in 2019 with physics, chemistry, biology, Hindi, and English . from 79%can I done genetic engineering in government college
Hello aspirant,
yes, you can do genetic engineering. to be eligible for genetic engineering the candidate is needed to have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board of education with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Since you meet the eligibility criteria therefore you can go for the course.
For admission to the course, candidates are required to qualify a relevant national/ State/ university level engineering entrance examination followed by rounds of counseling and personal interview. Some of the major national- level entrance examinations conducted in India for admission to the course are JEE MAIN, JEE ADVANCE, SRMJEEE, VIT EEE, BIT-SAT, JNU EEE, etc.

All the best
genetic engineering can be done by study biology in 12? and tell me about sallery and government college
Hello Noor,
Yes , Genetic Engineering can be done after studying biology in standard 12th. if you are aspiring for a career in genetic engineering, you can start the BTech course after your 10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.
The salary of genetic engineers is generally high as compared to other branches of engineering and science. A fresh graduate in genetic engineering can get monthly salary between Rs 30, 000 – Rs 35, 000 . The salary of a genetic engineer in foreign countries is very high as compared to India. In the USA and European countries salary is much higher due to complexity of job and shortage of trained professionals.
Some of the best Government Genetic Engineering Colleges in India :
- Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore
- Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
- RV College of Engineering, Bangalore
- PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
- Delhi Technological University, Delhi
- Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
- Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune

What is the requirements for diploma in genetic engineering? Is it available in AKU af tree r 10th and what is its syllabus?
Hi Fareena,
I hope you are doing good. I appreciate your choice of choosing GEnetic Engineering which is very rare. Now coming to your, To join Diploma in Genetics after 10th you should get at least 50% marks in 10th and student who get more marks in Science will be given more preference. As per my research, there is no Genetic Course available after 10th in Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU).
I hope this helps.
All the best for your future dear.
Thank you.
How much mark is needed for entering the genetic engineering college??
Hey Ankita
To be eligible for the engineering in genetics i.e the B.E or B.tech promgram in genetics is that you should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from any of the recognized Board/university of education with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Even if you are a graduate from bachelor's of science or in molecular biology you may look for a chance here.
i am in third sem of msc in genetic engineering with molecular biology,,,will gate exam help me for a phd or job/?
I hope you have started your preparation for the GATE examination because it's a really great exam if you are looking for government jobs or if you want to get into PHD in some prestigious university of India. Also if you want to study abroad like in countries like singapore and Germany you will easily get in just with your gate score. So yes GATE will help you a lot in fact with your job or PhD.
Good luck
Sir I have got 86.7 percentile in jee main do I have a chance to get admission in genetic engineering in any government colleges??
Dear candidate..........,
Well, securing 86.7 percentile in Jee Mains may not be enough for getting admission into a reputed government engineering college. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high. You can also apply for other deemed universities and private engineering colleges offering genetic engineering through your JEE MAINS score at the time of counseling.
Hope this helps you out......
Best of luck:)
