Hello Aspirant
The pros and cons of studying in Germany are as follows:
Pros:
1. 4th economy in the world therefore it has myriads of opportunities
2. Cultural experience is very nice
3. Germany has a very reasonable cost of living therefore very student friendly.
4. The pubic universities n Germany are free for all students and the private universities have very less fee
Cons
1. money : If you are planning to study in Germany, you have to block 8640 euros in your Blocked Account in Germany. Even though there is no tuition fee, you have to block the specified amount in your Blocked Account, because German Government doesn’t want you to be in a situation where you give more importance to earning money during your study-period.
2. Language barrier: A lot of people can't speak English frequently therefore language can pose as a barrier
Germany is an upcoming hotspot for people who want to pursue their masters nowadays and is overtaking America, UK etc.
This is because firstly it is nearer to India and flights take 7-8 hours whereas flights for America take about a day and are very expensive.
Secondly, the industry in Germany is very big and now theindustryin Germany is diversifying itself too to include food, technology , IT, andofcourse the already established auto- bahn industry.
therefore it is indeed a good place.
Hello,
the only way to make a free degree is to get a scholarship. if you have good education qualification or merit then you can apply for scholarship by performing best in the test/exams.
Nothing comes for free. even expecting a free degree from Aboard won't be logical. You have to pay fees and have personal expenses like hostel, mess.
You have to appear GRE/TOFEL and clear it so that you will be eligible for going aboard. Choose a college and go through the selection process. meanwhile prepare and apply for scholarships programs.
Hope it helps!
Hello aspirant,
To do MS in Germany, the minimum CGPA requirement is 6.5. To get admission in a good university you need to get a very good score in IELTS and your CGPA must be above 8. You will also need to do research work and also have them published from organizations like IEEE , it can be on any field.
Thank you.
RWTH Aachen University is one of Europe's leading institutions for science and research. around 31000 students are enrolled for different programs, rwth aachen ranked 99 in world university ranking, so if you are opting for masters it is a good decision, however you need to work really hard and study sincerely to achieve a good placement after studying,
see some of the university of Germany like Technical university munich accepts gate score and you also need to have ielts or toefel or gre depends on university recruitment. most of the top ranked university has scholarship schemes for foreign students and it will cover your tuition fees, but the food and rent for housing is costly and you may need to do part time work for financial support. totals expenses around 30-50k per month.
I would suggest that you first decide the university where you want to pursue your PHD in art history, study about its fees structure, prospects etc.
Then you contact the college by mail as colleges abroad are very responsive. Ech college has a separate application criteria for PDH students therefore you'll have to apply individually.
As for scholarship, they have scholars programs were you submit your application along with a few other details like family background etc which are required. Then they will shortlist people for scholarship after considering their applications and most probably will take an interview too.
But if your application is so good, sometimes the university offers good scholarships without filling any form also as they want to come and study in their university.
see the national institute of open schooling is a recognized education board of india, however before applying to any foreign university you need to check their eligibility criteria and qualifying marks details, since nios is a recognized education board and run by central government , students are eligible to take admission and many foreign universities accept nios certificate.
hello aspirant
