Hello

IISc is considered as the best institute in the country. It gives admission to top rankers in some of the most toughest and the most prestigious entrance examinations like KVPY, JEE and NEET.
Last year candidates with All India Rank up to 240 (General category) in KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET-UG were invited in IISc counseling process for admission in BS Program

IISERs gives admission on the basis of its own aptitude test for science stream students who pass class 12 with good percentage. You need to have strong concepts are strong to clear IISER aptitude test.
IISER takes admission on the basis of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE).
Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2020 will be eligible to apply.

One can also take admission in IISER through SCB Channel (Percentage in State and Central Boards).

I hope this helps.
