Information Technology
Dear candidate,
You can always do coding and go for tech jobs. You will have enough time to grab a good tech company if you start early. Mostly companies allow a non cs candidate for placement but if some doesn't, you can always go for off campus placements.
All the best!!
No IIT's or NIT's offers the course of BTech Software Engineering. If you aspire to be a software engineer then you need to take admission in the course of BTech Computer Science and Engineering which is offered by all the IIT's and NIT's. The admission to the IIT's are provided on the basis of JEE Advanced score. To be eligible for the JEE Advanced you need to score above the cutoff score of JEE MAINS.
Now the IIT's also offers the course of MTech/ME , for that you need to qualify the examination of GATE in the paper code CS.
So this are the process for seeking admission to the IIT's. The NIT's provides admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score for UG and GATE score for PG courses.

As far as I know, there isn't much fees difference in both the branches in most of the colleges as the most of the syllabus of both the branches is the same. There might be some of the colleges that may have a considerable difference but also their syllabus may also be quite different.
I hope this helps, All the Best!

Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing great ! You mentioned four different colleges and different branches buy i don't think that they will involve in any software related work ,you should look for different options if you want to go in software companies .
Hope it helps you !
Thanking you !!
Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. If you want to get into software then I would suggest you to take CSE and then give preference to ECE. I will give you a college preference list too which will comprise of all these factors:
The preference order you should consider is:
I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet. More reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

Nope! There are no so called 'BTech Software Engineering' course in IIT's or NIT's. The MNC's such as the Google, Amazon, Whats app, Facebook etc recruits the BTech CSE graduates which is the course offered in both the IIT's and NITs. In general, all over India there are very few college which can offer such as course. See CSE is the most comprehensive course which you can get, to go for the Software Engineering, Web Development etc.
