DY Patil College of Engineering in Pune is a decent college. It has good infrastructure, faculty and crowd. The placements are also pretty good. For the Instrumental branch, there are not many core companies that visit but most of the students get placed in MNCs for IT jobs. The faculty is well qualified too.

VRSEC is accredited by NAAC A grade and NBA A grade. It is located in developed area also its infrastructure is quite good, almost every facility is available. Labs are well equipped. Staff is experienced and shows helpful nature. Coming to placements, mostly, companies of CS/IT comes and students get placed, but there are companies which hire EIE /ECE students. Highest salary package till now is 11 lakhs per annum.

After doing diploma in instrumentation, there are many jobs available for instrumentation engineer. you have a good scope in this field but it is also necessary which kind of job you are most interested in. So you can also apply to Oil/gas companies, steel plants, Powerplants as assistant engineer or field officer and many more. There are many big companies which require diploma engineers. So apply to your interested company if there are any opening and accordingly you can get job.
Some companies which require instrumentation engineer are Reliance, L&T, Essar steel and many more.
The Electronics and instrumentation branch is a study about variour circuits, hardware components and various electronic devices used in industries. This branch has a pretty good future worldwide and its also rapidly growing in india due to increase in number of people interested in smart home devices which includes machine learning, IoT, Artificial intelligence. I would suggest you to go with ICE The course is similar to ECE and also the placements are quite good In the field
According to me you should go for ICE as it deals with both instrumentation and control part and now controlling has greater influence in todays world and there isnt much different apart from VLSI in both the streams
After completing your diploma in this stream for btech you can opt for same stream electronics and Instrumentation engineering or instrumentation and control engineering,both are almost same but have some subjects different. So i suggest you to go for electronics and Instrumentation only as it will be easier for you to get along with it.
