could you please advice about more CUCET, is it good to take admission in CUCET for Btech CSE in 2026 .. how about its Ranking and placements ?

Sankalp Agrawal 11th Nov, 2025

Hello,

CUCET is an entrance test used by universities like Chandigarh University and others for BTech admissions.

For BTech CSE (2026), it’s a good option if the university has strong placements, good NAAC/NBA accreditation, and updated infrastructure.
Chandigarh University, for example, offers good CSE placements through CUCET.

Still, try JEE Main too for better options like NITs/IITs.
CUCET colleges are decent for private university admissions but check each college’s ranking, fees, and placement record before joining.

Here is the link for the same:

Hope it helps.

my fathers name in my aadhar card and his aadhar card is Girisharadhya.but in my 10th marksheet is Girisharadya.Does it affect jee mains registration 2026.which name should I enter during form filling

Jishan Mondal 11th Nov, 2025

Hello, Yes, this mismatch will absolutely cause a problem during your JEE Mains 2026 registration, but there is a clear solution.

You must enter your father's name "Girisharadya" (without the 'a') in the main application form, as it appears on your 10th-grade marksheet. The 10th marksheet is the primary, non-changeable document for all NTA applications.

When the system tries to verify this with your Aadhaar, it will detect a mismatch ("Girisharadya" vs. "Girisharadhya") and will show a pop-up warning. NTA has created a process for this: you will be given an option to enter your father's name as per your Aadhaar in a separate field. The system will then capture both spellings, allowing you to complete the registration.

However, since you have time before 2026, the safest and most highly recommended solution is to get your Aadhaar card (and your father's) corrected to match the spelling on your 10th marksheet ("Girisharadya"). This will prevent any confusion or problems later during JoSAA counselling and final document verification.

I hope you found this information helpful and for any study related queries you can ask in careers360 app, Have a great day!

Sir i rectified my IIT Jam mishap, but the status is still being shown as "Under Scrutiny: Defect Rectification Done" How do i know when its approved, also the rectification Portal would close in two days on 13th Novembe. So how do I know if my issue has been resolved or not

Sankalp Agrawal 11th Nov, 2025

Hello,

If your IIT JAM status shows “Under Scrutiny: Defect Rectification Done”, it means your correction is submitted and under review. Keep checking your portal, once verified, it’ll change to “Accepted” or “Found Defective.” Updates usually appear within 2–3 days before the portal closes.

Hope you understand.
