For UT Dallas (Math 590-700, Reading 550-670). For Mississipi Staye University (Math 500-640, Reading 490-630) apart from these reemnber to take IELTS/TOEFL and your 12th/equivalent transcripts are important. Apart from these there are other criteria for scolarships which you should check. The score range keeps changing every year so make sure you check the reqirements on the official website.

Secondly, which course and college you will get is completely dependent on your SAT score,CGPA and IELTS/TOEFL score (depending upon the university requirement) so if you score really well in these then chances will be good to get admission in decent course and university.

There are conflicting views on the board to opt for. I have known students from CBSE, ICSE, as well as State boards and IB board have scored well in SAT.

You need to go through the SAT Test Syllabus 2018 to understand the different sections and what you are expected to prepare.

SAT scores are used for admission to an undergraduate program abroad. An IELTS score, on the other hand, checks your English language proficiency as the course you would be joining would be taught in English. 

So, yes, it is necessary to score well in IELTS after scoring well in SAT.
