Yes ICAR (The Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is one of the best options after Class 12. If you join BSc. Agriculture, it will ensure a Central/State Government guarantee as well. Plus there are many other Private jobs and you can be a scientist as well.

Some jobs after completing BSc. Agriculture (along with average salary) -

  • ICAR Scientist (Rs. 8 LPA, Highest - 14-16 LPA)
  • Agricultural Officer (Rs. 10 LPA, Highest - 15 LPA)

You can become the following after pursuing the respective courses in order to excel in the below mentioned fields  also since you have done B tech in ECE, you may get job opportunity in the below field and pursue further education in these fields:

  • R&D software engineer ( a high paying job upon gaining experience and thus pursuing higher education in it will help you to earn better)
  • Software analyst.
  • Network planning/ telecom engineer.
  • You may also get into IT companies such as Microsoft, Google but it won't help you to earn much initially upon gaining experience and skills you will be at the top position.
