To become a good journalist you should be inquisitive and should be constantly on your toes to know more about whatever is happening around them and in the world.
Communication of your thoughts and ideas in a simple yet attractive manner is must.
Your grip of any language English/ Hindi should be good.
Remaining updated with the latest developments that are taking place is required.
The ability to research and absorb the information quickly is also required.
You should be able to connect with people and develop a network. You should know how to mantain interpersonal relations with people
A good journalist is always expected to ne honest and fierce.
You can develop these skills by developing your personality, communication skills, hold on a language, confidence. You should start reading the newspaper and watching news daily.

It is glad that you wish to follow your dream. There is no issue of being a science student. You just have to maintain 50-60% in all subjects for getting admitted into a journalism college. You can go for BJMC as the UG course then you can go for masters in this too. There are specialised courses too for news reading and editorial etc;
Hello.. as per the research it depands on what exactly work you are doing but start of the work you can around 20,000 to 30,000 approx and as i mentioned it changes according to work

It is quite delightful to see somone with a different career interest. Appreciate it. Try honing your comprehension skills by writing blogs and focus on weaving articles in an eloquent way. There are courses that will take you there but you need a vocabulary like Shashi Tharoor. Work hard on that.
