A score of 550+ would have been a very good situation to be in. Manipal is a very good institute so please go ahead with the admission process once you get a chance, CSE is very bleak but even if you get other computer branches or ECE go for it.

See Chemical Engineering is not so much in demand in India. You can easily get into Chemical Engineering in the Manipal Main Campus, Mangalore.

 the answer to this question depends upon the branch that you are preffering. Because at this score you can get dmission in manipal but the branch that you get will depend upon your marks.
