sir I have given NDA 1 2021 and also cleared by 530+ Mark (according to answer key) . But I wiil have my 12th exam in March 2022. so can I go for ssb or I am not eligible for ssb at this stage???

Sharon Rose Student Expert 17th May, 2021

Hello,

No, you cannot attend SSB interview even if you have qualified in NDA 1 2021 entrance Test because you must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. Also you need to carry the original documents to the SSB INTERVIEW venue. On first day the documents of candidates will be verified. Candidates without carrying requisite documents are not allowed to go further for Screening Test. As you are still in class 11th you are ineligible to appear for SSB interview.

Anurag Khanna 16th May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

According to the percentile mentioned by you in the query you have decent chances to get qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 because on the basis of previous year's cut-off trends expected qualifying cut-off is around 50-55 percentile for SC category and if you are scoring 72 percentile then there are very good chances for you to qualify for JEE-Advance 2021, we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

I got 80 percent in March jee mains I am a st,can I get into nit trichy

Yalavarthi Kishita 22nd Jun, 2021

NIT Trichy is a prominent Indian institute matching the world standards in the group of NIT'S. I think you can get the seat in nit with this this percentage in sc/st category. It may depend on others percentage also. For suppose some other people also got 80 percent as like you, but there's  a difference in the rank. So they compare the two ranks and take the highest rank. For other categories u must need to score 93 percent above.

Regarding the eligibility criteria of EWS for admission in b schools. If i get an EWS certificate for FY 2021-22 is it be valid for my B school admissions next year? EWS is only valid for 1 year till March 2022, will i be required to produce a new certificate next year during admission? (FY 2022-23)

anirudha vats 13th May, 2021

Hey,

You wil have to provide your EWS certificate at the time of registering for the entrance exam. So definitely you will be needing the certificate. But as far as the next year is concerned you will have to apply for your EWS certificate again as that would be expired till you take admission in the college.

They will inform you in advance about that and will even give you some time to get your certificate reissued. So don't worry about that.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

in March session I secured 80 percentile is there any chance to get nit in open category if I work for remaining attempts

suchayitaanusaha 11th May, 2021

Hello,

You get 80 percentile then your rank will be above 1 lakh. And NITs means National Institute of Technology college get rank between 30000. So it's quite difficult to get NITs in your rank. Infact if you are a general category student then minimum marks is 95 percentile for getting NITs. So if you give the next attempt of JEE Mains examination then be prepare for getting 95 percentile marks.

All the best.
