sir i wrote exam on March 17th morning shift. i got 117 marks in your prediction you gave 97 percentile but i got 91 percentile.how it is possible sir

vibinoff 26th Mar, 2021

Hi Buddy,

I am also shocked due to change in trend of Percentile vs marks. But it's due to the reason that most of the students have high marks than usual. Since % of students who scored equal to or less than your marks have been decreased in that particular session. This happened with 18th March shift 2 also.

All predictors will come with disclaimers that their prediction is subjected to changes. Trends are again changing this year i guess.

by the way, if number of students getting some mark is increased, the paper is considered easy . But paper was of moderate difficultly. No one predicted such change in number of students achieving some mark.

I am not saying that predictors did perfect job either.

it's just calculation with past trends, subjected to changes. I'm not supporting anyone here!

Thank You!

ayanmukherjee045 26th Mar, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you are school student, it's good from now you are making yourself aware of the jee mains exam but this percentile which is 64 and 56 , it is too low for a government college like nits so you need to score atleast 96+ to get a seat in nits.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 26th Mar, 2021
Hi

Yes, you have very good chances to be eligible for JEE advanced examination with your percentile.

For example,
In 2020, jee main qualifying cutoff to be eligible for jee advanced for sc category was 50.1760245 and jee main 2021 expected qualifying cut off percentile is 50-55 percentile.

You can check the same at our page the link is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

With 60.60 percentile

your rank will be around 403062 - 453100 as per our rank predictor at
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Your sc rank will be around 35,000.

I am extremely sorry to tell you but with above predicted rank you have extremely low chance inNIT Andhra Pradesh even if you have home state quota

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, theclosing rank for sccategory in NIT Andhra Pradesh under home state quota was 7367sc rank and it was for Biotechnology

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below
