My score is coming to be 102/300 in 16th March 1st Shift. What could be My Percentile.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 21st Mar, 2021

Hello,

Based on our JEE Main rank predictor tool you can expect your overall percentile to be in between 92.94 - 95.08 approximately considering the difficulty level of the March 16, 2021 first shift paper is moderate and the overall expected rank will be in between 61380 - 69000. To use our JEE Main rank predictor tool use the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor/

You have not mentioned your category. Assuming that you belong to general category you have decent chances to qualify in JEE Main considering the previous year qualifying cut off percentile. The cut off percentile for JEE main 2020 was as follows category-wise

  • General:90.3765335
  • OBC-NCL:72.8887969
  • EWS:70.2435518
  • SC:50.1760245
  • ST:39.0696101
  • PWD:0.0618524

Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available etc. Considering the expected rank you may not get seat in NITs or IIITs if you belong to general category. You need to score minimum 98-99 percentile. However, as you have chances to qualify in JEE Main 2020 you may prepare for JEE Advanced if you want to get admission in IIT, if not we would suggest you to prepare for JEE Main upcoming sessions and score well.
