my marks in jee mains march session can around 50 to 60 . whats my percentile excerpted.

Sowmya Konkala 19th Mar, 2021

55 marks could fetch you a rank around 79.56-83.32 and a rank of 2 lakh- 2.4lakh.now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc. work hard and improve your score in the upcoming jee main sessions.considering you from gen category you have tough to no chances to fetch a seat in government colleges.however let the score release and we will help you with what all options you have for your percentile.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope this helps,

Thankyou.

I got 67 percentile in jee mains 2021 in march session, I am belongs to ST category student. can i get any NIT , IIIT OR GFTIs

Atif Ali 28th Apr, 2021

Hello,

According to your percentile, your rank would fall somewhere between 337590-379500. With this percentile you cannot get admission into any of the NITs, or IIITs but, there is one GFTI where you can expect your Admission. You might be able to get a seat in Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering and Technology, Malda, West Bengal. But you can get that seat under HS category as Cutoffs are very very high for OS Candidates and you must have had scored minimum 90 Percentile to get a seat under OS category. Under HS category, you can get a seat in these branches-

1. Electrical engineering

2. Food Technology

3. Mechanical Engineering

what is my percentile and rank in jee mains march session if I am scoring total 54 marks (31marks chemistry, 7marks math and 16 marks physics)

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Mar, 2021

Hi

I am assuming that you are from general category

With  54 marks

And  with above predicted  rank , you have no chance in any government engineering colleges like NITs ,IIITs etc on the basis of past year closing ranks/cutoff trends .

For previous year cut offs of top colleges like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs , you can refer our page at :-

NITs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

IIITs:- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

GFTIs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-gftis

Or alternately you can visit our official website of josaa at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

With your predicted rank,  you may have chances for private Engineering College

  • Sharda University

  • Lovely Professional University, Phagwara

  • Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore.

  • School of Engineering, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

With predicted around 80 percentile you may not even qualify JEE main examination.

For example,

In 2020, qualifying cutoff for general category was 90.3765335 and jee main 2021 expected qualifying cut off percentile is 90-95 percentile.

You can check the same at our page the link is provided below
