The principle difference between electronics and telecommunication engineering (E&TE) and electronics engineering: E&TE focuses on the theory and design of hardware for telecommunication systems, while electronics engineers are trained with a broader focus with respect to electronic devices and systems. The special attention to electronics for telecommunication systems is due to both the demand for engineers in the growing telecommunications industry as well as the complexity of Radio Frequency (RF), satellite, optical, and wired data communication systems.

You should always prefer a course acording to your interest, passion and skill. 

Before choosing any course always keep in a mind that which type of career you want to make in future. Choose the branch in which you can enhance your skills and you don't get bore. 

There is a always good job opportunities for a right candidate who have desired skills and knowledge.

All these branches are core branches and offer good future scope. If we compare the branches then CSE is the most demanding branch among all it privides maximum job with good packages followed by ECE, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and IT. 

You should focus on to get top colleges of engineering as you will get good placements and teaching in every branch. There is a lot of competition envolved to get good colleges so plan your studies accordingly.
