Good Luck!!!
For an engineering student, the difference between electronics and electrical engineering might be very clear but for common people it is little befuddling. So, here in this write-up, we will talk a bit about it. There are many students who feel strong attraction towards electrical devices and electronic gadgets. These are those students who may want to carve a future for themselves in electronics and electrical engineering. The two branches are known for being most prominent streams in the world of engineering. In case, you are worried know that our nation has huge demand for electronic and electrical engineers. It is a highly growing industry with high demand for engineers who are needed for handling advanced technologies that are entering the market with every passing day.
But the question remains as to which discipline should you adhere to for getting a job of your choice. Even the branch of electrical engineering has bifurcations. So, let’s understand the ins and outs of these two branches here.
Electrical Engineering: The present day world is completely surrounded with advanced technologies and gadgets that keep getting updated with every passing day. Whether it is technique of sending signals to a satellite or modifying a digital gadget, you ought to seek assistance from someone who has enough experience and skills for handling these things. The prime focus of electrical engineers is on designing and development of techniques and tools. Their job is to stimulate electrical power while formulating and administering electrical energy as well as algorithms depending on their experience and knowledge. Electrical engineers are those who begin their career with some of the highest salary packages as electrical engineers as electrical engineers are integral part of many industries. Electrical engineers can be one of the best people for technical jobs and after some experience can also take care of administration or management related responsibilities. These days, there are numerous degree courses and diplomas that can be availed in electrical engineering according to your requirements like lighting, wiring, computers, electronics, telecommunications, transportations, communications, and electrical power stations.
Electronics Engineering: Electrical engineering is a pretty broad science divided into several specialities. Apart from electrical engineering, electronics is another part of this stream. It is for this reason anyone pursuing B.tech from electronics engineering college in India would look for different opportunities than the one pursuing electrical engineering. Although the basic first year for all B.tech students in engineering colleges in India is same but things get different as they move ahead. Not only those choosing B.tech in civil engineering or information technology will move apart but also those pursuing electrical engineering will move apart from electronics engineering. For an electronics engineer, their prime job is to look into product development, proposal submission, and bring forth new technologies. In a deeper sense, electrical engineers study for application or utilization of flow of electrons while electronics engineers look for study and application of flow of charge. Jobs and opportunities are equally fertile for both streams but their working areas may differ completely from each other.

Dear Karishma,
You are asking for which college?
You can directly apply in official website of the college or you can write mail to them.
Good Luck!!
Hello Rahul,
The principle difference between electronics and telecommunication engineering (E&TE) and electronics engineering: E&TE focuses on the theory and design of hardware for telecommunication systems, while electronics engineers are trained with a broader focus with respect to electronic devices and systems. The special attention to electronics for telecommunication systems is due to both the demand for engineers in the growing telecommunications industry as well as the complexity of Radio Frequency (RF), satellite, optical, and wired data communication systems.
A more general education in electronics engineering includes learning the design and construction of analog and digital electronic circuits. An electronics engineer is qualified for jobs that include building electronic components for integration into larger systems, Integrated Circuit (IC) design work, board layout, programming micro-controllers and microprocessors, and field testing. It is important to note that many electronics engineers have the background required to enter the telecommunication field.
Both Electronics Engineering and E&TE provide engineers with a background that will lead to a rewarding occupation. The salary for engineers in these areas seem to be roughly equivalent, although the telecommunications positions tend to be slightly higher. You should base your decision about which degree to pursue on your own interests. Looking at the job descriptions posted by companies seeking electronics engineers and telecommunications engineers will also provide you with a better idea of the background required and the type of work you will do, as well as an idea of the salaries you can expect.
All the best..!!
Dear Abhishek,
You should always prefer a course acording to your interest, passion and skill.
Before choosing any course always keep in a mind that which type of career you want to make in future. Choose the branch in which you can enhance your skills and you don't get bore.
There is a always good job opportunities for a right candidate who have desired skills and knowledge.
All these branches are core branches and offer good future scope. If we compare the branches then CSE is the most demanding branch among all it privides maximum job with good packages followed by ECE, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and IT.
You should focus on to get top colleges of engineering as you will get good placements and teaching in every branch. There is a lot of competition envolved to get good colleges so plan your studies accordingly.
