There are diploma nursing courses like ANM (Auxillary Nurse Midwifery) and GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery ).
The eligibility for ANM/GNM is 12th standard with 40% aggregate and English as one of the mandatory subjects.

the choice depends on the choice of the student. it completely depends on whether the student is interested in maths. if the student is interested maths bsc and msc dual course is a very good choice, else you can also go for civil engineering dual course. both courses have different scopes and bsc maths could get you into the teacher role and engineering would let you into the corporate sector
