With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that as of 2022, any candidate who has a Bachelor degree in any branch of Science / Arts / Commerce (3 year program) or who is currently in the 3rd year or already completed the course are eligible to apply for the GATE exams 2022.

further, the eligibility criteria for candidates to give GATE exam 2022 is been discussed as follows :

IIT Kharagpur has released the GATE 2022 eligibility criteria at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The GATE exam eligibility criteria 2022 consist of age limit, academic qualification, nationality and more. Candidates have to meet the GATE eligibility 2022 in order to appear for the GATE exam .

Nationality :

• Indian nationality candidates will be eligible
• Candidates from other than India will be also eligible

Academic Qualification :

• Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or Master’s degree in any relevant science subject.
• Candidates in the pre-final or final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to appear for GATE 2022
