hey there im a neet aspirant 2021 from kerala and belong to ews category according to the last year mark evaluation how much mark will be required for me to get an mbbs seat in govt med clg ?

Vibhanshu 30th Mar, 2021

Hello Meenakshi,

As per previous year cut offs, 550+ marks is required to get a mbbs admission in Govt Medical College through EWS quota in Kerala. Kerala is one of the States with higher cut offs. EWS resrvation was started from 2019. Considering the fact that EWS reservation takes its slice from General Category, you will need anything between 550-575 for a seat in any of the GMCs in Kerala. However, the exact marks might differ depending on the difficulty of the paper and performance of the students every year. Also on the number of students who could get All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

can i get mbbs seat if i score 550 marks in neet 2022? i m belong to sc category from Odisha.

Sowmya Konkala 14th Mar, 2021

Hello aspirant,

As of now it's tough to say what could be the cutoff because every year the cutoff changes due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc factors.but based on previous year analysis and your rank, category we can help you with your query, now the  last year cutoff the cutoff for hi-tech medical college and hospital, bhubaneshwar is 104810 by rank for sc category which is 420-430 based on previous year analysis, considering state quota. so yeah 530 marks would fetch you a seat.target high and try to reach so that you don't have to worry about if u fetch the seat or not because in 2020 the cutoff rose by atleast 30-40+marks causing a difference in ranks by thousands.so prepare well.for more information regarding cutoffs refer to: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha

hope this helps,

thankyou.

How much marks could I score in NEET out of 720 to get mbbs seat in 1st round only

darshita 12th Mar, 2021

Hello,

To qualify for the best Institution or get MBBS you should have a good score above 650. As you know that previous year's score was perfect and the competition is increasing day by day so you should make sure you work hard enough.

And second reason is that because of the pandemic you got more than enough time for preparation and the limit removal will lead to more applicants. The competition is fierce so work hard and make it up to 650++ .

Hope this helps!!
