I am not able to secured MBBS seat. now I am literally too much confuse which course should I choose bams Or bds?

Abir Gayen 4th Dec, 2020

HI Aspirant,

BDS is specialization in Dental Surgery and Bams stand for Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine. There is a disadvantage of BAMS since ayurvedic courses are not recognized worldwide so you cannot practise or earn your living everywhere outside India. However it is not the same case for BDS since dentists are required everywhere and the earnings of a dentist annually is generally quite better and you can set up your own clinic. So my opinion is you should go for BDS.However its your choice and you should always follow your passion.

Hope it helps!!
