I got 450 mark in neet Can I get mbbs seat in govt medical college of assam. I belong to sc category.

Aakanksha 9th Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
See with a score of 450, you might have a hard luck finding seats in government medical colleges of your state.
At this score you can expect your rank to be around 1.44-1.45 lakhs as it was in NEET 2021. However it may vary this year. It all depends on the highest score, total number of candidates and the cut off.
You can however, predict your rank for NEET 2022 using our rank predictor by the following link.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

You can also predict your college using our college predictor using the following link.

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Now coming to the closing ranks for your state for SC category.
GUWAHATI MEDICAL COLLEGE, GUWAHATI 72932
Tezpur Medical College, Tezpur 97261
ASSAM MEDICAL COLLEGE, DIBRUGARH 91680
SILCHAR MEDICAL COLLEGE, SILCHER 95088
Jorhat Medical College and Hospital, JORHAT 95187
Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta 94513
AIIMS Guwahati 61521
Lakhimpur Medical College, North Lakhimpur, Assam 96304

As you can see it's not possible to grab a seat in any government medical college of Assam. You might consider admission to private medical colleges if your finances allow.
Hope this helps
All the best :)

i think 444 mark in neet and have ip ward can get an mbbs seat in India?

rajeevanand843 8th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant

You haven't mentioned your category I'll assume you belong to Gen category.

I hope you have IP ward certificate and you are asking cut off marks for the same in ESIC medical College all over India, counseling for ESIC medical College is conducted through all india quota counseling

NEET 2021 cut off marks for ip ward certificate holder Gen category candidates in ESIC medical College was 510 marks in ESIC medical College, joka, Kolkata. In neet 2020 cut off marks was 548 marks for Gen category.

By looking at last two year cut off marks trends you lag behind by very large margin, so there are very less chances that you will a esic medical College in Gen category in neet 2022.

In order to get Government Medical colleges for general category student, the minimum marks is around 500-530+ marks in NEET and for best Government colleges, 600+ marks is required in NEET.
