I got 142 in pcb ..and I am from obc group..so in wich field I can apply now ..I want to go into medical field

Venkatachalam M 24th Jul, 2020

Hello! If you want to get into medical field, The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate)  [ NEET- UG ]  is important. Take for example if you want to apply for MBBS or BDS, neet score is mandatory. You are required to score a very good mark to become eligible for it. On the other hand without NEET you can approach these following fields - Nutritionist, Food Technology/Food Science , Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Nursing, Agriculture, Psychology, Liberal Arts, Anthropology, Education & Teaching, and lot more. You can also take courses like B.E Bio-Medical, Bio-informatics in an engineering college. Not all colleges offer these courses. There are lot of opportunities available. You need to explore them. Hope it was helpful. Stay safe.

hiii....I got 600+ in neet but my tamil nadu state board examination of twelth mark is 535/600.... I think medical admission is purely based on the neet mark and not based on twelth mark

Neha 26th Jul, 2020

Hello candidate

I hope you must be doing well. Stay safe. Firstly Congratulations for your outstanding performance at your examinations.  Yes you are right that medical admission is completely based on the neet marks. In certain colleges eligibility criteria may differ which affect the admission of low percentage candidate. It is mandatory for all colleges to be qualified in intermediate with an aggregate of certain percentage which is mentioned in the eligibility criteria.

thanks.

Hello,

In any entrance examination there is always some reserved seats and some unreserved seats. Unreserved seats are for general candidates and reserved ones for the special category candidates. Obc candidates are in those special category.  So there is no chance in anywhere to opted general one for the obc.

Is domicile certificate required for medical admission in gujrat? born in gujrat and passed 12th by gujrat board

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th May, 2020
If you are a bonafide resident of Gujarat, you do not need to submit your donicile certificate for NEET Counselling. And those Candidates who also have completed their 12th from Gujarat but belong to other States also do not need to submit their domicile Certificates. The rest of the Candidates who do not fall in both of the Categories need to submit the domicile Certificate. For ecample, if you are birn and completed all your studies in Gujarat, even then you needn't submit your Domicile certificate.
