Mining Engineering
In Mining Engineering you will learn about the technologies and techniques used for identification and extraction of minerals from the earth.
The role of mining engineer starts from the discovery of mineral resource, processing of mineral commodities, designing and construction of mines, controlling mining operations and transportation of minerals.mining engg is for sure an better option seeing the pay scale there nowadays there are very few colleges offfering courses in mining engg.... as a result of which demand for mining engineers has increased a lot but lifestyle is very difficult
Hyy,
In mining branch you do not need a good CGPA instead practical knowledge is more important for placements although certain companies may ask for a specific minimum cutoff. But placements are sure if you have a good knowledge of the mining subject. You can gain this by going to the mining fields.
I would suggest you to go for mining engineering but you should decide based on your preferences and on the subjects and career choice that you are interested in.
I hope that helps you to make a wiser decision. Rest, the success in any field depends upon your own quest to knowledge, hard work & networking skills. All the best for your future endeavors.
Hello aspirant,
To become a Mining Sirdar, you need to have completed your Diploma in Mining Engineering which is a Diploma certificate course duration of three years. This course can also be pursued by the candidates who have completed 10th class as well as 12th class with Science stream and Mathematics group. The subjects covered in the above mentioned course are- Geo mechanics and Rock Mechanics and also the topic of Ventilation which is under mine environment. The salary per month for the position of Mining Sirdar is of Rs.31852.56.
Hope, this helps you.
It is the best college for geo-mining branches in Asia. Also there is a scope of wonderful placements in the mining branch. All students of dual degree are placed in the core companies. Students of B.Tech in mining are placed up to 80% in the core companies and rest are placed in consultancy companies but overall, the placement is 100% always with the average CTC of 12 LPA.
Total fees is 3.15 lakhs, which is not much expensive for dual degree course for 5 years (full time).
I think you can consider the course and the college. All the best!
Hi Aspirant,
Both the NITs are excellent in every aspect. However the ranking and placements are a notch better in NITK. The campus of NIT SURATHKAL is awesome with a private beach of its own, the only campus with a beach
NITK is an Institution of National Importance. The ranking done by various agencies, however unreliable they are, puts NITK among the top Engineering Institutions in the country. A real and true evaluation is very difficult to get. Only people who have a first hand information can make a correct assessment of the standard of an Institution. It is very important to note that as far as under-graduate courses are concerned, Teaching-learning process is the most important component to be considered while evaluating the Institute. Opinion of the students is very important but is not reliable for obvious reasons. As a student, nobody dares to make adverse comments on the course content, quality of teaching and evaluation as he/she will be obviously worried about the marks/grade which will be decided by the Instructor.
I hope it helps you.
It is best for you to choose iiitdm to pursue ECE course. This is best University. Following are the details:
Fee per semester is 60,000
Fee per 8 semesters will be 4,80,000
Admission fee is 500
Registration fee is 300
Other fee for 8 semesters is 40,000
So you total fee amount 5,20,000 to 5,30,000.
Placements are quite good with 30+ recruiting companies.
Highest CTC is 55Lpa.
My opinion is that you go to iiitdm.
Good luck..!!.
Hello!
31-(a) Transition metals show variable oxidation state because of their valence electron in two orbitals. Difference between the two orbitals is too less, hence both the energy levels can form bonds.
(b) Zinc (Zn) have higher tendency to loose electron when compared to that of Cupper(Cu)
(c) Mn shows +7 oxidation state with oxygen is because they are capable of forming double bonds, multiple bonds. When it comes to the case of fluorine they will become unstable.
32) Tollens is a test that is used to distinguish between aldehydes and ketones. Tollens reagent is used for silver mirror test. Aldehydes gets oxidized in Tollens and ketone wont. Tollens have ammoniacal content. EQUATION- 2AgnO3 + 2NaOH --- Ag2O(s) + 2NaNO3 + H2O.
ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
Thank You
Hello Akash,
Yes, you can change your stream of career in b.tech it doesn't matter that you have to choose the same course as diploma. But remember that choosing course will play a vital role in your career. So choose a course for which you are capable of. If you have b.tech in mining engineering then you can choose it. Choosing course is up to you, choice is yours.
Good luck.
Hi Aspirant!
The college can be compared on the facilities and placements.According to NIRF ranking we consider its facilities and exposure. The NIRF ranking of NIT Rourkela is 16, NIT Warangal 19, NIT Calicut 23,DTU 36.
As you have interest in Computer Science/Coding then in this case college does not matter as in this field only your skills matter. But the better college on NIRF ranking can provide you best/more opportunities to explore.
Now on the basis on placements the average package of NIT Rourkela is 15.18LPA,NIT Warangal 13.3LPA,NIT Calicut 8 LPA,DTU has 16LPA.
Hence on the basis of Placements DTU is best.I still recommend you to go for NIT Rourkela because it provides you more opportunities than DTU.
I hope it helps.
Happy Hustling!
Dear Aspirant,
You have scored well in TS PGECET entrance exam. At this marks of yours and with the help of your BC-B category, you have awesome chances of getting admission in Osmania University. At Backward Caste -B category, you have quite a luxury. For this category, the cutoff rank for mtech in mining Engineering in Osmania University is 11000. This is quite some big cushion as at this rank you can definitely get to pursue post graduation in preferred course of mining engineering in Osmania University. Had you been in the general category, the competition would have been extremely intense as the cutoff rank would be around 1100. So good luck in your admission process and in your future ahead.
If you want to pursue post graduation in mining in some other college which is better than Osmania University, then you can always compare these colleges by just clicking on this link:-
https://dqxeclau.top/compare-colleges
This is a phenomenal comparison tool as it compares colleges based on their merits and demerits or say advantages and disadvantages. Now, while comparing, make sure you focus on key areas like scope for research, qualified professors, better infrastructure, skill devloping courses or curriculum, etc.
I hope you have a wonderful career ahead in Mining Engineering.
