Core branches are good in some top NITs like NIT Surathkal , NIT Warangal , NIT Trichy , NIT Rourkela  , NIT Calicut and MNIT Allahabad . If you are interested in Mining, then you should look forward to Colleges like NIT Surathkal , NIT Rourkela and IIEST Shibpur . They have a pretty good department for mining engineering . But I would like that if you want to pursue engineering in Core branches , then you should try to pursue in ECE and EEE. These offer pretty good work and see their position in various sectors of future .

Manganese is a pinkinsh-gray, chemically active element. It is a hard metal and is very brittle. It is denoted by the symbol Mn and it's atomic number is 25. It is most commonly found in minerals as a combination with iron.

Manganese exists in several structures. The most common, and unusual, are αMn and βMn. The unit cell is based on body-centered cubic, but contains 58 atoms representing 4 distinct positions. It can be represented as a bcc Bravais lattice with a 29 atom basis. Manganese is the only element that exhibits this crystal structure.

You have to do BE/Btech in mining engineering. You have to appear LEET exam which is for Lateral entry. if you get a good score then you can join top government college/University or Private college.

You are not eligible for other branch as you have already pursued a branch in your diploma and you can switch to other one in degree course.
