NIFT counselling procedure is as follows:-

• First you need to register for NIFT counselling process, and then you need to select the nearest counselling centre where you will report.
• Then, rank will be alloted to you on the basis of your score and number of seats available.
• If you are alloted a seat, you need to report to the counselling centre you selected during registration, for document verification at 9:30 a.m.

         after document verification, document will be returned to you. They will call you on the basis of your alloted seat. You need to select your                 seat in presence of nodal officer.

•  Once the seat is allocated you need to pay the full fees to NIFT and then nodal officer will give you a receipt signed by him. To take this slip at this is important

You will have to apply for NIFT entrance exam through OBC category.

Based on your rank in the NIFT entrance exam, you will get to choose which NIFT branch you want.

Your counselling process will happen through OBC category. You will have to submit the necessary category certificate and documents for it.
