I have completed my bsc with physiology, zoology, botany as subjects. (2020) I did not have phy or chem. Therefore if I choose code 2 in neet form wont it hamper my admission into a medical college? As because I have to show TC or migration, will it be of school or college as per that code?

Anurag Khanna 18th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As you don't have Physics and Chemistry in your B.Sc 1st year program so your highest qualification with PCB is class 12th so you should use code 02. And don't worry it won't create any problem for you as far as matter of TC and migration certificate, when you will leave the current college you will get back your TC and Migration certificate of your school from where you had passed your class 12th, so you can submit it in your new college.

how to count marks of theory+ practical for neet form filling ? because theory is of 100 marks and practical is of 50 marks so per subject out of 150 marks i have to count and fill in the neet form?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd Apr, 2021

Hi

You don't need to worry at all even if your theory examination is itself of 100 marks and Practical Examination of is of 50 marks which means that total marks for the subject  is 150 marks.

This is because,

While filling Neet application form there are two columns the first one is maximum marks and the second  is the marks obtained by you.

For example,

If you have obtained 90 marks out of 100 in physics theory and 40 marks out of 50 in your physics practical then marks obtained by you in physics is 130 marks out of 150 .

So, you need to enter 150 in the column of maximum marks and 130 in the column  of marks obtained for physics.

You can check the same on the page number 125 of Neet 2020 information brochure, the link to download it is provided below

https://ntaneet.nic.in/ntaneet/ShowPdf.aspx?Type=50C9E8D5FC98727B4BBC93CF5D64A68DB647F04F&ID=1B6453892473A467D07372D45EB05ABC2031647A

To help you further ,some other relevant information regarding Neet 2021 is provided below :-

  • -) NEET 2021 has been declared according to which it will be conducted on 1 st August 2021

  • -) The syllabus of Neet 2021 is still the same. You can get the complete Neet syllabus at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-syllabus

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,
