NEET form
Hello,
If you're unable to provide the certificate for your EWS category then you'll be considered as a general category student and thus you won't be allotted seats under the EWS category. You should apply as a general category student during the AIQ counselling if you don't have the required documents.
To know more about which colleges you can get admission in based on your rank you can use the college predictor tool

Hi
I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but as you have filled ews as your category in NEET examination you will be treated as ews candidate only ,now nothing can be done and you can not change it to obc,
Neet 2020 qualifying cutoff is given below for different categories:-
Category cutoff percentile cut off marks
General/ews 50 720 - 147
UR - PWD 45 146 - 129
Obc/Sc/st 40 146 - 113
So , a student from ews category requires at least 147 marks to qualify Neet 2020 examination , so with 117 marks you have failed in NEET examination
you may try again for Neet next year and if you prepare again, you can use our Neet knockout program for which link is below

Thank you
The 85% state quota seats of a particular state is reserved for the students who have the domicile of that state. The rest of the 15% seats is reserved through the all India quota (AIQ) for the students who do not have the domicile of the State.
Therefore, you would only be able to apply for the state counselling of that state for which you have the state domicile otherwise you won't be able to apply for the state level counseling.
However, you might get admission in some of the private medical colleges of different states through management quota.
Hope this helps.
Aditya, So to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. Once you appear for the exam in March and secure the required aggregate against your Category, you can appear for NEET 2021.
Hi Janak,
I am sorry to say that, now though everything has been over and even the Exam has been conducted, you can not make any change.
Now, anytime sooner, the result can be declared, and now there will not be any correction window be provided. 30 September 2020 was the last opportunity provided by NEET.
Let's hope if such updates come in the future.
Hello Aspirant,
As per the latest eligibility criteria issued for NEET, the candidate must have secured 50% marks in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects if he/she belongs to Unreserved category but if he/she belongs to any of the reservation category such as OBC/SC/ST then the threshold is 40% marks.
So if you belongs to UR category then you are not eligible for NEET but if you belongs to any of the reservation category then you are eligible on such percentage.
For complete details about NEET eligibility criteria kindly refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hey,
The SEBC category stands for Socially and Economically Backward class. It's a state reservation provided to students in MAHARASHTRA. So for ALL india Counseling, you will fall under the Other Backward Class (OBC) category.
Hope that solves your concern.
Thank you.
You cannot apply for a seat under the Category that tyou did not apply for. Because the merit list is prepared based on the Category that you selected during NEET application form filling. So if you did not select EWS during that time in December and also did not make any corrections during the Correction window, you cannot use your EWS certificate now and opt for reservation. The merit list cannot be changed and State your rank will be based on General Category only and not EWS State Rank.
Neet eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible one must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belong to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st
Also,
Minimum age limit for Neet is 17 years old, so to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021.
So if you fulfill above two criteria then only you are eligible for Neet examination
