i have secured 198 and belongs to SC...will ill get any prvt colg?

Naija Bansal 25th Oct, 2020

Hi there,

At these marks it is very difficult to get into a top private college even at the SC category rank. However, you can consider applying to ones which have slightly more fee structure as the minimum qualifying criteria into some are the PCB as majors in 10+2 and the NEET qualify.

However, the cut offs are subject to change every year and depends on many factors.

Hope that helped...

sir I got 549 marks in neet ug 2020 , also I am in unreserved female ,hilly area candidate ,can I get government seat in maharashtra ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 549 marks   you hold  a   chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
in neet 2019, 539 marks for general category got a seat in Government Medical College, Gondia under Maharashtra State quota

i scroced 514 mark in neet ug 2020 ,will i get goverment college in tamil nadu

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

Hi

when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 514 marks   you hold a low chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
In Neet 2019, the lowest marks that got a seat in Government Medical College for general category under Tamil Nadu state quota was 520 marks and it was for Government K.A.P.V. Medical College, Trichy

But yes
With your marks you very good have chances for govt quota seats   in private medical college under state quota like:

*KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Coimbatore

*Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur

And a few more

I may get 460 Marks in neet ug 2020 OBC category which MBBS college in maharashtra with less fees app 4lakh/year

Heena GJ 14th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant

With this score, your rank would be between 73337-81607, it is good score.

To get seat in government college you must score 550+

But as you belong to OBC category, you may get seat in government college.

Generally it depends upon cut off and cut off varies every year depending upon no candidates appeared, qualified, no of seats available, difficulty level of exam, last year's trends.

Cut off for OBC category:

678-118 score and 45th percentile, Which you have qualified .

So you have chances of getting good government medical college.

More will be known when results are out officially.

my cousin lives in bihar. ha is expecting 495 marks this year. in which clg in bihar he can get admission?

akashkumarpati.2000 14th Oct, 2020

Hey,

As per your cousin's expected marks at first I would like to inform you that your All India General Merit rank must be in between 55234 - 67384. You can also use our NEET rank predictor:

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

We know that without officially released cut-off details of NEET UG 2020, it's quite difficult for us to make any accurate comment about the precise cut-off marks of this year for the top and eminent Government and private Medical and Dental colleges in Bihar. Here you also don't have mentioned your cousin's category in your question, so I'm considering him/her as a General-UR candidate.

However as per our assumption and previous year's (2019) details it can be estimated that he/she doesn't have any kind of probablity to grab any Government MBBS and BDS seats with this performance in NEET UG 2020, but has enough chances to get admitted in several top-esteemed private Medical and Dental colleges with this marks. I'm making a list for those colleges genuinely suitable as per your cousin's performance in NEET UG 2020.

MBBS

  • Katihar Medical College, Katihar (cut-off: 491)
  • Lord Budha Koshi Medical College and Hospital, Saharsa (cut-off: 424)
  • Mata Gujari Memorial Medical College, Kishanganj (cut-off: 473)
  • Madhubani Medical College, Madhubani (cut-off marks: 420)
  • Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Sasaram (cut-off marks: 441)

BDS

  • Buddha Institute of Dental Science & Hospital, Patna (cut-off: 384)
  • Mithila Minority Dental College & Hospital (cut-off marks: 382)
  • Sarjug Dental College & Hospital, Laheriasarai (cut-off: 381)

The cut-off marks mentioned in the bracket beside the college names are on the basis of 2019's informations. For further reference:

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff- bihar

However we all know that the statewise cut-off marks vary each year on the basis of several determining factors like:

  • Number of appeared aspirants
  • Numberof successful aspirant
  • Previous year's cut-off trend
  • Total number of available seats by State Government
  • Difficulty level of the examination
  • Highest score in NEET UG in whole India

But you don't need to be worried regarding this. Because our definite estimation is that your cousin can obviously get chance in all those above mentioned private instituions.

So don't worry. Just be relaxed. You may check the following Carrers360 NEET College predictor tool for ensuring my assumption:

Hope all these informations and links will be quite helpful for you. Wish you all the best.

can I get 366 Marks in neet ug 2020 which collage is predict

Anurag pal Student Expert 14th Oct, 2020

Hey dear, cutoff varies every year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a good govt. Mbbs college. So, with 366 marks you won't get a govt. Mbbs college for sure but you have chances for bams and bhms. You can aslo use college predictor through this link:
