what should I study to get full marks in organic chemistry neet.because 5 months are remaining.I cannot study rk Gupta.if I mug up Allen modules for organic can I score full marks
Dear Aspirant,
If you think that you have completed all the theoretical part from any one book or any coaching material and you have your concepts ready, then all you need to do is to apply them to the questions.
You should go with either previous year question papers or with the exercise material of any coaching.
Solve all the questions and revise your concepts from time to time after that till the exam. You will definitely get a good rank.
All the best.
for organic chemistry which book should I buy to prepare for neet?
Hi!
As per my knowledge NCERT organic chemistry is sufficient and best to prepare for NEET because it has to the point topics and explanations. Other than that a teacher or study materials from preparatory institutes are helpful. I hope this will be useful.
How much can I get in jee mains if I know Everything except optics, calculus & organic chemistry?
If you want to leave organic chemistry , optics and calculus part of the syllabus of JEE mains.
then you may clear JEE mains but it is little bit difficult to score high marks because some of the units are dependent on these three units if talking about chemistry so some units like haloalkane, aldehyde ketone, carboxylic acid etc.
Units.
You will also have to leave.
In mathematics if you want to leave calculus part then application of integration , differentiation etc. unit you will also have to leave.
In physics if you want to live optics part that wave optics etc. you will also have to leave.
Best of luck.
I dont understand Organic Chemistry , How can I get a Good JEE Mains Score ???
Hi Avishkar,
JEE-Mains has 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject and topic is important and should be given equal time and effort. From the topic of organic synthesis, 2-3 questions are usually asked. You need to learn nomenclature, types of reactions, acidity and basicity thoroughly and in detail. This can be done by enough practice and hard work.
However, if you are not confident about a particular topic or chapter, it is advised to give more effort into the remaining portion and perfect that to make up for the marks of the topic which you have difficulties in. keep in mind that this is only a provisional measure and your prime objective should be to perfect each and every topic.
Can I clear JEE without Studying Organic Chemistry ? My Maths and Physics are Quite strong..
You might be able to clear JEE mains but then advance will be tougher for you. If you are happy enough with NITS or some state government engineering colleges through MAINS score, then yes you can clear it. Because out of the 25 questions of chemistry, there will be around 8-10 from Organic part and if you leave them it's absolutely fine obviously provided that your maths and physics are really quite strong that you're able to at least write 17 out of 25 correct in each. Then try to score around 140 that is 35 questions right from 50 of Physics and Maths and try to gather around 20 marks atleast with the help of physical and inorganic chemistry. And then with a score around 150, you can get good colleges.
Best wishes. Thank you.
how to identify a +H and -H group in organic chemistry
Hello Nomula,
The element that has the higher electronegativity is the one that is slightly more negative. So you first recognize the electronegativity of the atom.
Thank you.
What are the topics of organic chemistry in class 11th kf cbse boards to understand organic chemistry in class 12th boards ? As i havent studied in class 11th properly !
Hello Aspirant,
There are lots of part and chapters are there in the class 11 chemistry to understand the organic chemistry and for that you have to start with the class 11 chemistry because without knowing the basic you can't went further as it is a very vast thing and it could make you lost interest in chemistry. I hope this will solve your query. Please start the study soon.
Good luck
can somebody give me the tips to study organic chemistry and physics for jee ..Im really scared
For physics you should start with the basics first. I mean the NCERT part. If you are able to understand that then surely it will boost your confidence. Never jump over competitive books like H.C Verma or D.C Pandey. They are meant for practice not to build your basics. If you have strong grasp on basics then physics will no longer be your enemy. Try to feel the situation and then solve it. Remember one thing, every question has definitely a solution, so you just analyse the question and I can bet the solution part won't take more than a minute.
Organic Chemistry includes endless reactions. Atelast I felt that while preparing that. But learning every reaction is not possible.. You can practice reactions while reading the topic. First read the topic and then try to find out how this reaction is relatable. This will seriously help you. If any question related to that reaction or topic will come you will be able to answer both of them. Many reactions are interrelated. Especially the conversions. They are the best part of organic chemistry. Make a list of important reagants and reactions involved with them in NCERT. You will hardly get 10 reactions per reagent. Practice them again. Then move on to competitive part.
All the best
Hope this helps
What is cover for topic in general organic chemistry?
In general organic chemistry, Alkanes, Alkenes, Alkynes, Aromatic Concepts and some of the basic organic chemistry are included. This is a very important chapter if you want to crack any entrance exam. Because this is where your basics grow stronger and from here on you can go onto understand organic chemistry of 12th in a further more better way.
Best wishes. Thank you.
how we find stability in organic chemistry
Hello Vivek Kumar
To find stability in organic chemistry, we need to check for the following points
- the element with more no. of covalent bonds is more stable
- the atoms with octet of electrons are stable
- less separation of opposite charges and
- more dispersal of charge
More the number of alkyl groups, the greater will be the dispersal of charge and so the carbocation wil be more stable.
So the order of stability is: CH 3 + < 1 o < 2 o < 3 o
Hope it helps you.
