The subject wise total number of question in WBJEE is
In chemistry 30 Questions is asked in Category 1and 5 Questions each in Category 2 and 3. In category 1 each correct answer will be awarded one mark and in category 2 for every correct response, two marks will be given by the candidates. The total marks allotted in Chemistry is 50. In WBJEE organic chemistry chapter has 6% weightage. So, apart from organic chemistry you can get around 32-35 questions from other chapters.

See the chemistry syllabus that you need to cover for both JEE and NEET is same . But the type of questions asked, the complexitiy level and depth will be different in both. Since JEE is an engineering entrance the questions can more trickier and calculation oriented so you need to be perfect with formulas and it requires more speed to solve. In NEET , many questions you can expect on application basis , so you need to have clarity on both theoretical and formula . Also it has been observed that JEE questions may be a little tougher or of a higher level than that of NEET. This does not mean the entire section will be different , you will sure find similarity , it is just the type that differs . So the best to prepare for this is by solving previous year papers of both to understand or get a better idea on the type and pattern of questions asked.
