Im from Bihar and Im getting 540 marks in neet 2022 gen EWS category, can I get a private college in west bengal with low fees???

Karishma Sawhney 22nd Aug, 2022

Hello Siddharth

If we look at the previous year' cut off (NEET 2021), a candidate of the EWS category was allotted Shantiniketan Medical College at 552 marks. This is a private medical college.

You can get a management seat in the following private colleges-

Jagannath Gupta Medical College, Kolkata- 348

IQ City, Durgapur- 366

Gouri Devi Medical College, Durgapur- 349

Please note that the cut-off varies every year depending on various factors such as the category of the student, number of students attempting the paper, number of newly opened colleges, etc.

If you do your graduation from regular private college would you be able to do your pg from reputed central / national University ??? By the way I am from seience background...

Devendra Nikhare 20th Aug, 2022

Yes absolutely.

Only requirement of colleges and universities is your CGPI/SGPI and other exam scores depending from college to college. It doesn't matter from which college you have done your graduation.

Most colleges will ask your graduation marksheet and certificate, grades of entrance exams if applicable and it depends on students as well.
