which private medical college i can get in 384 Marks?

Ayush 26th Sep, 2020

Hello nikita,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, as you have 384 marks in neet which mean your rank would be around 1.43 lakh to 1.54lakh . As you didn't mentioned your category so am considering you under general category. So at this score and rank your chances of getting private medical colleges is low. But you may get decent private colleges like :-

1) vydehi Institute of medical science and research, banglore:-

they have a fee structure of 7 to 9 lakh.

2) Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga:-they have a fees structure of around 9lakh

3) Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore:-they have a fees structure of around 10lakh

4) Akash Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Bangalore:- they have a fees structure of around 9lakh

5) Khaja Banda Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences, Gulbarga:- they have fees structure of 8lakh

6) The Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre:- they have a fee structure of around 9lakh

These are some of the private colleges where you can get in as per your marks but it may change as per cutoffs as cutoff depends on various factors.

As per previous year, the cut off for bc-b for A-cat in telangana was around 475 and that too in Mahavir medical college , vikarabad. But the cut off changes every year on various factors. You can get a seat a BDS or in medical B-cat seat.

If i get all india rank 60,000 in neet is there any chance in getting a seat in private medical college in telangana i belongs to bc-d

Swetha N 26th Sep, 2020

Hello Sandeep!

According to last year data, 60000 rank for a BCD category was the border or almost closing rank for A-cat that too by phase-3 in telangana. But we cannot say anything for sure as the cut off varies every year. Anyway, you have few chances.

But you can easily get a B-cat seat. Or a Govt. Dental seat.

Hope this was helpful.

All the best!!

I am a resident of UP, and have student of private medical college in Kerela for MBBS degree, would i be considered in the state quota of UP in neet PG?

Naija Bansal 26th Sep, 2020

Hi there,

The eligibility criteria of counselling process for state quota seats is :

Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree / Provisional Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent / provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship / likely to complete on or before 31st March and has qualified NEET-PG are eligible for pursuing MD/MS/PG Diploma courses subject to the applicable rules, regulations, reservation policies and guidelines of respective States/UTs. NBE has no role in counseling/allotment of seats.

In short, the allotment of state quota seats is wholly based on from where the MBBS is done , the native state has no role in it. You can't claim 50% state quota in NEET-PG, from your own state of domicile if you have done MBBS from other states.

Hope this helps...

Good Luck !!
