Sakshi Singh 21st Jul, 2022

Hello,

The NEET exam was conducted recently by NTA and the results will be released at NTA's official site: http://ntaresults.nic.in/

Candidates must keep a check on the website. By now candidates have got a fair idea about their score in NEET. Candidates can also predict their ranks y visiting to: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

With 170 marks the expected rank will be in range of 650046 - 684698. The cut off has been high from past many years. So, competition has been high.

With 170 marks it is not possible to get government seat. For government seats candidates need to have minimum 550 marks.

You can also predict college with the help college predictor tool. The link for it is provided here: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

what is the fees for MBBS under Telugu minority quota in Karnataka

Krishna Rathod 30th Aug, 2022

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well,

Fees for MBBS is different in different colleges and in different states. It depends on the category under which you take admission. If you get admission under government quota then your fees might be around 1,00,000-2,00,000 per year. If you take admission in private college then your fees might be up till 12-15 lakhs per year and if you get admission under management quota then your fees might reach till 25-28lakhs. In Karnataka most of the college has minority such as muslim, Christian, jain or even parsi. However there are some colleges which has telugu minority under which your fees might be reduced till 30,000-50,000 per year out of your total fees. Although this also differs from college to college. You need to check  by yourself about the same at the tine time of admission.

Hope you find this helpful

Rupali negi 21st Jul, 2022

Hey

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared NEET UG result 2021 on November 1 (https://admission.aglasem.com/neet-result/) . With it, cut-off for the exam has also been announced. This year, NEET cut off marks for General category is 720-138 marks, for SC / ST / OBC category it is 137-108 marks, for the General-PwD category it is 137-122 marks, and for SC / ST / OBC-PwD it is 121-108 marks.

Compared to last year, this time the NEET 2021 cut-off has gone lower. In the year 2020, the cut-off for general category candidates was 720-147 marks and for SC / ST / OBC category candidates it was 146-113 marks. As for the general PwD and SC / ST / OBC-PwD candidates, the minimum qualifying marks were 146-129 and 128-113, respectively.

am expecting above 280 marks in neet 2022 is there any chance for getting govt. mbbs seat under sc category or defence quota as my father is ex-service man am from haryana....or i should go for drop as this was my first attempt.

Sanjana 21st Jul, 2022

Hey aspirant

Chances of getting admission for government medical colleges for the above mark is less. You need to score a minimum of 500+ to secure a government seat. Even in private medical college also you need to get 450+ according to previous year trend. With 280 mark you can get admission in deemed colleges. But as it have fees its better to drop one more year so that you you could prepare more . can I get any govt college in neet if I score 195 from obc quota in 2022.

Krishna Rathod 21st Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well

Sorry but 195 marks is a very low score for admission in Government College as well as in Private Colleges. According to the previous year's cut off candidates from OBC category required 550+ score in NEET. But do not loose your hopes you can either try to score well in next year or you can choose other medical courses such as BPT or BPharm. There are few colleges in Karnataka in which you might get admission for these courses. To know about these courses, read the article mentioned below

kcet ranking is 22020 and having rural quota with 3A category will I get seat in jss or nie of mysuru for cs is or ec please tell me

Sree Student Expert 30th Aug, 2022

Hello Deekshitha,

Based on previous year's cut-offs, it is difficult to get Computer Science Engineering branch or Electronics and Communication Engineering branch in JSS College and NIE Mysuru. So, you can try for seat in some other Colleges for your KCET rank as there is lot of deviation in the cut-off rank and your KCET rank. Cut-offs varies from year to year and depends on many factors like caste category, number of seats available, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, etc.

To predict Colleges you can get for your KCET rank, use below mentioned College Predictor Tool which is designed by experts.

I hope this information would help you.
