my obc category rank in jee mains is 196561 should I go for josaa and csab round , is there any hope for any iiit , nit ,gftis through obc , female and state quota reservations?

thakurvishesh1 30th Aug, 2022

Definitely! See to be honest, it would be very difficult for you to get into some Indian Institute of Technologies or IITs. However, if you hail from some of the North-Eastern states like Mizoram, Meghalaya etc, then there is almost full chance that you'll get admission into these NITs using your state quota!

The best NITs which you should target are:
NIT Nagaland
NIT Mizoram
NIT Meghalaya
NIT Srinagar

You can also use our college predictor to see your chances in all the colleges:

Hello Aspirant

Cut-off is changing every year , it difficult to predict anything . Though your marks for this college is low but you can try , according to previous year's cut-off

General 50th Percentile 720-138( 2021) 720-147(2020)

This college offers 150 seats every year , fully private  . It takes through Neet marks also and through donations also  , yes you can apply through management quota to secure a seat . Though if you apply through counselling process I suggest applying through management quota would be better .

The total fees including hostel for MBBS in this college is 14,40,000 INR.

You can see options for BAMS , BVSC too as a backup plan. The private colleges you can apply are :

Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Thrissur,

KLE University, Belgaum,

AVS Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Bijapur

The average fees for BAMS in these colleges are maximum 3 lac .

Since your marks are too low apply for private colleges where chances are comparatively greater .

if someone get 502 marks in neet UG 2022 he will get government college seat yes or no or by quota for obc

Musical Dimri 21st Jul, 2022

Hello

NEET 2020 Cut off marks for OBC category in AIQ counseling for govt mbbs college was Air 15024 and 611 marks.

At your marks i.e, 500 it's very tough for you to get govt mbbs college in OBC Category.

Although the chances to get govt BDS and ayurvedic medical college at your expected marks is very high

You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.

i had passed 10th from uttrakhand and 12 th from up but have no domicile of either state. which state will be considered as state quota in neet ?

Aakanksha 20th Jul, 2022
Hi aspirant
  • For admission to UP state government medical colleges you need to have wither UP domicile or you your 11th and 12th passed from the UP state board. Since you have passed your 11th and 12th from UP state UP state quota is applicable to you.
  • Now to get considered under the Uttarakhand state quota, you need to pass your 10th, 11th and 12th from Uttarakhand state, which is not the case with you. Therefore, you are not eligible for Uttarakhand state quota.
There is 85% reservation of the seats under the state quota. Candidates can apply for State Quota seats according to their domicile. The allotment of seats under the State Quota in different states is done on the state level in the counseling process of that particular state.

There are certain laws applicable in various states and union territories for the allotment of MBBS/BDS seats.

In every state 85% of the total medical seats (government) are reserved for the candidates that hail from that state. This means that 85% of the total government medical seats available in the country are reserved for candidates of those states only. These seats are then allotted to candidates on the basis of their NEET scores.
The candidates, however need to register themselves under their state quota to get themselves considered under their state quota during the seat allotment process.

Hope this answers your query

I scored 450 ....what are fee options through all india quota .......I am frm general EWS (Andhra Pradesh)....can I get a seat below 10 lakh rupees??????????

Sohamsengupta8 29th Aug, 2022

Hello Student

The name of the course and the name of the Institute has not been mentioned in your query. So to answer clearly is a impossible task So mention it first clearly and plan for future study. But in assumption if we take it as Neet Ug result then you may get admission in one of the BDS, BAMS ,BHMS,courses in any private or government BAMS /BHMS/dental colleges . The score comes under the percentile of 91.08 - 91.58. With this marks your rank can be between 133550 - 165700. With this rank you obviously can get some good colleges which costs under rs 10lakh. hlo sir, yesterday I gave my neet exam. I am scoring 460 , could u plz help me with any medical colleges in odisha under state quota that I will be eligible for. I am from obc category

Aditya 29th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Score of 460 out of 720 in NEET (UG) 2022 is good but not upto the requirement . On 7th September 2022 , National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the NEET Results on its official website.

Unfortunately, at your marks you will not be getting any Government Medical College for MBBS in Odisha. But don't worry, you have these options :-

  1. Take a Drop and prepare yourself more stronger to score 600+ in NEET 2023.
  2. Go to Private Medical Colleges either for MBBS.
  3. Go for Government BDS or BAMS or BHMS colleges, etc.

I will strongly recommend you to go for a Drop and start studying and practicing MCQs as much as you can in a day. Read NCERT textbooks regularly. Clear your concepts, doubts. Do your best and grab your MBBS Seat in Government Medical College.
