how much possibility is there that NEXT will replace NEET UG and MCI screening test of foreign students ? in 2022

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Oct, 2020

Early this month, NMC did take over MCC according to the new structuring of policies. Regarding NEXT replacing NEET UG and FMGE, only time can tell. There has been no official information regarding this and there has been no hint of such moves. FMGE is for Candidates who have studied abroad to practise in India. And NEXT is the admission mode for MD/MS Courses. And so it is unlikely that NEXT will take over these.

I am a foreign medical graduate and i have passed my fmge exam and completed my 1 year mandatory internship. do i need an equivalence certificate for applying for nimhans exams or my mci screening test will suffice

Sk Student Expert 20th May, 2020

Hi

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is a multidisciplinary institute

for patient care and educational pursuit within the area of mental health and neurosciences. ...

NIMHANS has made considerable development and is a centre for excellence in mental health and

neuroscience inside the country.

Admission is based totally on NIMHANS Entrance Exam conducted through the university observed with

the aid of an interview. Bachelor's diploma in MBBS or MD/DNB in Internal (General) Medicine or

Pediatrics from a diagnosed institute or university.

NIMHANS is a excessive scoring examination, you need 80 and above out of a hundred to get into it. I

started making ready for NIMHANS 2 weeks after the NEET examination. There isn't any unique

coaching for NIMHANS, you have to be preparing for the NEET exam nicely if you need to crack

NIMHANS.

how to prepare Group 1 screening test, mains

Nikhitha Sai 24th Mar, 2020

Hello aspirant. If you are asking about prelims and mains , then here are few tips

1. For prelims, you need to know the entire syllabus. Most important of all geography, covcs, history, economics etc. Know the syllabus and subjects, no descriptive questions. Only objective questions will be there. So prepare the entire syllabus. Plan the day, week

divide the subjects and syllabus what to study for each day and mark the topics which you are facing difficulty in. Revise them

2. For mains, this is one of the toughest exams. So start with preparing GS

Join test series for optsubject , start atleast 8 months before. Since most of the questions are theoretical in both the papers, you need to spend quality time

I would suggest you to join a better academy whichever you are comfortable with so that it would be easier for you and moreover it would definitely be helpful

After cracking neet, have I to face any interview or screening test?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 13th Nov, 2019

This is quite an interesting question to be honest with you and it needs a mention. Now AFMC admssions are conducted through DGHS. Once NEET scores are released, AFMC releases its cut offs and interested and eligible Candidates can apply. Now, based on the scores, DGHS will shortlist Candidates for few further steps like TOELR, Psychometric asessment and Final Interview. Now AFMC is one such Institution. CMC has 100 seats and 84 seats are sponsored and these seats might have a Personal Interview. The rest of the Medical Colleges only have NEET score as the basis of admission.

last year aiims had eligibility criteria as 60% in pcb ..well after being merged with neet will it be the same for counseling process or they will go with 50% aggregate?? will there be any screening test or they will prepare list based on AIR?? sir/mam..

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 6th Dec, 2019

hi,

as per the latest neet notification all of the colleges need to take admission in mbbs , bds or any other courses on the basis of neet exam score. and the eligibility criteria is candidate need to have 50% marks (general category) in pcb in aggregate, sc/st/obc-40% aggregate marks in pcb, so there is no other notifications available regarding aiims or jipmer marks criteria, so you can take their marks criteria should be same as neet exam.
