UPTU
Hello,
TFW is a particular scheme by the Government of India which initiated and is given to the student who has low Annual family income and who cannot bear or fund his college fees , education expenses of the college, so in that case his most the fees ( tution fees mostly ) is cleared and thus he would have to pay only a little amount.
But, for a general candidate who is able to pay the college fees and education expenses and has a good or moderate Annual family income, he won't come under the TFW scheme. He would have to submit his Income and assets certificate to verify his Income.
So, if you have a low Annual family income, then you can certainly apply for the TFW scheme. After your documents are verified and checked accordingly, then only you will be able to get TFW scheme benefit.
A general candidate having lower family income can also get benefit of this scheme.
Hope that helps. Good luck

If you didn't get the TFW scheme then it's not necessary that you will not get admission through general seat as well. If you don't qualify for the TFW scheme, then you will get admission from general / normal seat.
So, basically, TFW is a particular scheme by the Government of India which initiated and is given to the student who has low Annual family income and who cannot bear or fund his college fees , education expenses of the college, so in that case his most the fees ( tution fees mostly ) is cleared and thus he would have to pay only a little amount.

A general candidate having lower family income can also get benefit of this scheme but if his or her Income doesn't comes under TFW scheme approval, then he won't get TFW benefit. But, he or she can apply from the general / normal seat and would get admission through the general seat

Hey,
Based on previous year cut off, you have good chances of getting a seat in the following top government colleges through UPSEE -
To know more about the colleges in which you can get a seat in your desired branches, you can use UPSEE College Predictor https://dqxeclau.top/upsee-college-predictor?ici=cp-listing_root&icn=UPSEE-College-Predictor
You only have to pay acceptance fee apart from counselling fees. The students who are economically poor would have to pay under Tution Fee Waiver Scheme. No other fees is required after you accept the seat and decide to keep it. You can choose to freeze or float based on your options so that if you want to cancel it then you do not have to pay or if you have paid then you can get a refund.
Hope you got your answer.
Good luck.
Hi Nihai,
No. Definitely not. Although the exact number of seats filled up varies from one year to another, still not all seats are filled up.
Yes, certain courses like CSE and ECE are the most popular ones and they get filledup quickly while others take much more time as students wait for the exact count, and check the seat matrix after first round in the colleges.
So a handful of seats are only filled up after the first round of counseling.
Hope this helps!

Good luck!
According to official guidelines if you choose the floating option then it will only allot you another seat if you will get better college option in next round.Hence if you get the college which is top in your lock choices then you do not have to worry because you will not get another seat but if there is any college above your alloted college then you have to leave seat and go for the alloted college.
To restrict that you can contact them by calling them or wrote mail to them.
