West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam
Hello,
That depends on the college in which you got admission, your academic performance, placements records and other such factors. If the placement record is high in the college in which you took admission then you may get placed in a company by the time you graduate provided you must have good academic record, technical knowledge and soft skills. So it is important to maintain a decent percentage throughout the course without any backlogs, participate in co-curricular activities, build your skills and technical skills to get a job in on campus placements or off-campus placements as soon as you graduate. But if the placement record is not so high do not loose hope but apply for off campus placements. If you are interested to get government job then plan a strategy and start preparing for it early.

hi,
see jee main standards are higher than wbjee. yes you can study from cengage books for your wbjee preparation. apart from studies you have to give mock exams , make short notes on formula , revise the theory part daily . first of all make a routine and follow it regularly. also check the wbjee previous years papers to analyze the difficulty level of questions.
careers360 has b.tech companion tool to help you through study, college predictor tool, latest exam alerts etc.

Dear aspirant,
As per current scenario from the year 2020, the competition in wbjee exam has decreased compared to what it used to be in the 2018,2019. So, the dynamics have changed now.
For less marks , now you will be getting a better rank. Yes, it also depends upon the paper how difficult it is but on a general basis for cse ju atleast 120+ is a must to secure a seat.

Hello Aspirant,
Unfortunately Ramkrishna you are very late because WBJEE 2021 applications were already extended till April 30th and now there is no any order for extension of the Application dates and also the correction period is over now. So now if you want to appear for WBJEE then you have to wait for next year and if we talk about Presidency University then admission in it is also made through WBJEE so if you will not appear for WBJEE then you cannot get admission in B.Tech course offered by Presidency University, Kolkata.
You can check out the official notification of extension of application of WBJEE 2021 from the official site whose link is given below :-
https://wbjeeb.in/files_notice-extension-of-last-date-of-application130.pdf

HI,
See cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicant, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc. however it is difficult to say about the exact cutoff score for a particular rank. based on previous years analysis to secure seat in government Institute you must score 90% above of total score, which is challenging score for admission to government Institute.
