West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam
hi,
see it depends on how many years of year gap you have. however most of the mncs has consideration of up to 2 years of year gap , however during the placement you would be asked the reasons behind your gap in academic course. however there is ample of work opportunities available if you work hard and belongs to a tier 1 college. make sure you have 60% or above in 10th and 12th, as for the academic criteria for mncs.
hope it would help.
see narula Institute of technology does not have very good placement records in last 4 years and less number of placements in top mncs like tcs, capgemini, cognizant like mncs. however two year academic gap are allowed in most of the mncs. so you should not face any issue at the time of placement. however you would be asked to justify the gaps, so be prepare with a reasonable answer. however I would suggest you to look for better colleges like techno INDIA group colleges, rcc institute, FIEM , netaji subhas institute etc.

Hello,
The WBJEE cutoffs have changed over the years. There is also a difference between the home state closing rank and the other state closing rank.
Based upon the rank you have secured it will be a bit tough for you to get admission in the top government colleges if you are from the general category, also your stream plays an important role here. Reserved category candidates still have chances, however all of it is dependent on the cutoff.
Considering the previous year cutoff you can try out for these colleges-
Would suggest you to use our college predictor-

Thank you.
Dear aspirant
If you pay required sum of money in 2nd round of counselling in WBJEE then 2 things can happen.
If you take the seat allotted to you and get admission to your respective institute then the money will not be refunded. On the other side you don't select your alloted seat and do not get admission in that particular institution then you have to apply to the wbjee board named WBJEEB with your bank details by which you you paid to the couselling board then you will refunded within maximum 2 weeks
Hello Aspirant,
WBJEE is conducted for the admission of students to the various government and private colleges of West Bengal in the Engineering and Pharmacy courses.
The WBJEE council has not stated any age limit or any limit to the number of attempts a student can take for the exam.
Untill you do not want to pursue Marine engineering, which requires a lower age limit of 17 and an upper age limit of 25 years (as of dec 2020). If you want to pursue any other course, you are fit to attempt as many number of times and for as long you want.
I hope this clears your confusion regarding the WBJEE.
Hi aspirant!
If you have acquired a seat in WBJEE counselling 1 and you have selected option "freeze" for that college then it is sure that you will get that college. However if you have opted for "float" option in counselling then you will be given colleges as per your rank which are earlier in your priority list. If you don't get any other colleges within your rank then you will get admission the college already allotted to you in the first round. You can "freeze" your college options in any round. In that case the allotted seat remains yours and there is no upgradation.
Hope this helps!
All the best!
