Hii

I don't think so dropping a year will be a good option because since you are in prefinal year of your B.Sc and giving the JEE will not be a good option and regarding the eligibility yaah you are eligible for it and you may can also give to check your rank in national level but my advice to you is to focus more on B.sc and courses after B.sc rather than JEE and all.

Good luck
