Being a north indian, Should I join NIT Meghalaya Cse? Will it be a right decision?

Dear Aspirant,

The choice of joining NIT Meghalaya is completely upto what you are interested in and what your comfort zone is.

There are a few factors to consider.

1. NIT Meghalaya is a very new campus and hence the faculty, alumni network, course structure, internship.opportunities are all very sloppy.

2. If you aren't looking for continuing in engineering after this, then you can definitely choose Meghalaya campus and you'll be able to get the NIT tag and pursue whatever your passionate about.

3. If you are interested in getting into software companies or engineering after this, then choose some well established private colleges like VIT, Amrita, Manipal.

4. If you are getting core branches in other NITs choose that and learn programming , do software related internships etc.
