If you say that you have no idea about coding then it is no problem, there are a lot of students in engineering who don't know much about their branch so the syllabus of B. Tech is started with complete basics like C and C++. Yes, it can get you high salary jobs if you are doing it from a good college and you are doing things on your own level like training, internships, etc. You can opt for this branch because it has a good scope in the future but it should really depend on your interest.
