Hello,
There are some physical standards and eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by candidates for applying for SSC CGL examination. However there are many posts through SSC CGL which includes Inspector, clerk administrator on the lower level etc and each one of them have different eligibility criteria. For posts of Inspector the eligibility criteria related to eye vision is that a candidates's distant vision should be 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye and near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in.
So you can apply for SSC CGL but you won't be eligible for getting Inspector posts during allocation whatever your rank will be but you can get other posts like clerk, accountant etc.
I hope this helps.
