Dear Prasad, you haven't mentioned your CGPA. But to be eligible for ABM, you should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA if you belong to General Category. It is 45% for Reserved Categories. If you score this, you are eligible for appearing for CAT and ABM as well. Now the selection process depends on various factors:
Parameter Weightage
CAT score 55
Diversity Factor 06
Essay writing 05
Group Discussion 10
Personal Interview 14
Work experience 5
Academic profile 5
The CAT score weightage is computed as follows:
CAT score = Candidate's CAT score/Highest CAT score *55
Merit list will be prepared for calling candidates for Group Discussion, Personal Interview etc., based on CAT Score. Diversity Factor weightage will be assigned to various academic disciplines. Graduates in the Agriculture and allied sectors get 6.0 points. Personal interview, GD, Essay Writing may include subjects to test candidates’ aptitude for Agriculture and Management. Candidates’ record in extracurricular activities and any additional qualifications or accomplishments may also be considered during the interview process. About 3 minutes time will be given to the candidates to prepare before Group Discussion. During Group Discussion, every candidate in a group shall be given at least 2 minutes during which nobody else will interject. The final merit rank list will be based on the summation of points earned in all the assessment items. Considering all this your CAT percentile should be atleast 80. But if you can manage to score 90 percentile, you can secure admission in this college.
