Hi Raja Ram,

Once you have completed your MBBS from India, then you have completed the basic medical education equivalent to the MD program being taught in USA.

Now before you apply for redidency, you need to first clear the USMLE test which is the United States Medical Licencing Exam.

This exam consist of three levels. Level 1 and Level 2 can be completed in your home country but for level 3 you will have to go to USA.

After you have completed all the three levels one by one then only you can apply for residency program in hospitals there.

Still there is no guarantee that you will be able to get into residency because it is very difficult domestic students, hell difficult for international ones.
