Well it depends completely on your willpower and it depends completely on you, choice is yours to make , if you are willing to work very hard for getting into medical college without dropping a year by pursuing bsc then its quite a sensible decision as even if something goes wrong in the attempt your year wont be wasted also stress level during 1st year is not too high but you will need to work very , very hard and mange time between college and neet preparation , you will need to study extra , work extra if you want to do both, analyse yourself well if you think you will be able to manage time both for college and preparation , work very hard, if you can study along college examination then go for preparation with bsc and without dropping a year.
But if you are not able to manage college studies, neet preparation simultaneously, not able to cope up with simultaneous college syllabus and that of neet entrance examination, getting exhausted due to college and you still want to do medical , still passionate and determined about medical then go ahead and take a year off, but be very sincere with preparation give your 100%, be disciplined , make regular time table, cover syllabus on time give as many mock tests as possible and you will get through.
Find out which MBBS, BDS, or Ayush colleges you can get into with your NEET 2025 score by using NEET 2025 College Predictor.
Surely you can prepare for your neet alongwith your graduation.
That would be time saving and you won’t be dropping a year. Nowadays most of the students are doing this way only. Important thing is that you should be able to manage time, you should be consistent and punctual while preparing. Focus less on graduation course and give more time for the preparation of Neet. Be confident enough and have hope on yourself.
Do regular revisions, give importance to each subject equally and also study from last years papers.
If you’ll be able to manage your time with preserverance and consistancy, you’ll be definitely going to crack it.
All the best!
Thankyou!
