Hello dear candidate,
Yes, you can apply for an integrated at IISc but only if your B.Sc. in medical laboratory technician is recognized as a science degree (biological or chemical sciences) and should include subjects like:- biology, chemistry, or biochemistry.
IISc may not accept you if your course is more technical or training based. So it would be better if you do M.Sc. in a science subject and then apply for a regular PhD.

Hello
Yes, you might be eligible for IISc Bangalore's Integrated PhD after a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, but it depends on a few things. Your degree needs to be recognized as a Biological Science degree and should include core subjects like biology and chemistry. You’ll also need to clear an entrance exam like JAM and have a first-class academic record. However, since MLT is often considered more technical/applied, IISc may not accept it directly. If you're unsure, the best step is to email IISc’s admissions office or your desired department for clarity. Alternatively, doing an MSc in a biological science field could make your path smoother.
