Hello Aditya!

You must know that the board cutoff has been reduced to 60% this year due to covid-19 crisis. You can check that in the official website too.

You just have to cross the 60% mark and you can then appear for IAT. It doesn't matter if you score 95% in non-medical stream.

Coming to your IAT score which is 33, it is very low if you compare with previous year statistics. The students who were from the general category got their 3rd or 4th preferred IISER in the last round of allotment with 80+ marks . From the reserved category, at least 70 marks in IAT is required for the same.

With 33 marks it is impossible for you to get any IISER(even the newest ones). Unfortunately, you don't stand a chance for IISER Mohali too.

There is no use to be disheartened. When there is will there is way. Start preparing for the exam again or utilise your back up plans.

All the best for your future!
