Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali is a government institution established in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. IISER Mohali is an Institute of National Importance approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). IISER Mohali offer courses at undergraduate and doctoral levels. Students enrolled in BS and MS Dual Degree and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes are entitled to scholarships offered by the varsity. IISER Mohali scholarships are provided to students based on their performance in academics. The BS and MS Dual Degree programmes students can apply for KVPY and INSPIRE scholarships of Rs. 5,000 per month. Last year (2024), students who got a rank up to around 4400 in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) were able to get into IISER Berhampur. So, if he gets a rank under 4500, there's a very good chance he can get a seat.

As an OBC-NCL PwD candidate for IISER TVM via IAT 2025, you should aim for around 100–110 marks out of 240 to have a good chance.
Cutoffs vary yearly, but this range is generally competitive. Also, you need at least 55% in Class XII aggregate for eligibility.
