Cutoff to be taken at class 12 for nift

Schooling Qualification

Probably passed Diploma of 3 or 4 years which is perceived by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.

Age rules

The upper age limit is 23 years as on August first in the extended period of confirmation

B.F.Tech

B.DES

Education Qualification

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 board exam from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi or Any Board/Public School/University Examination conducted in India or abroad which is equivalent to 10+2 system and it is accorded by the Association of Indian Universities or
• Must have completed the General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Sri Lanka/ Cambridge/) at the Advanced (A) level/International Baccalaureate (IB)
• Must have passed the 10+2 Examination conducted by the National Open School with at least five subjects or
• Must have passed Diploma of 3 or 4 years which is recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.

Age criteria

• The upper age limit is 23 years as on August 1st in the year of admission
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person With Disability (PHP) get a relaxation of 5 years.

B.F.Tech

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subject from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination or
• Any Public School/Board/University Exam in India or in foreign countries which is equivalent to a 10+2 system with Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics as a mandatory subject. It must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or,
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination(London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/International Baccalaureate (IB) or,
• Must have passed 3 year or 4 year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline which is recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education or,
• Must have passed Higher Secondary Education Examination held by the National Open School with at least five subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person With Disability (PHP) get a relaxation of 5 years.

Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination as mentioned above are also eligible to apply. Their admission will be provisional and such students must submit the proof of passing in the qualifying examination on or before the cut off date specified.
