How is cutoff taken for jee mains? Is it with marks or percentile?
.
As per now results the percentile score is released.if you get more percentile score in April exam than this January exam then the April exam score is considered..
.
This year the results are released in the form of percentile score because the exam conducted twice .for the official cutoff you have to wait for official results which were released on the month of April by national testing agency NTA officially.
.

Hi student,
Up until last year, the cutoffs for jee mains were released as marks but from this year, it will be released as cutoff percentile. A percentile is a measure of how much percentage of total students who appeared for the examination are behind a particular candidate .So from this year onwards tge jee mains cutoffs will be in form of cutoff percentile.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
